A Zitat, ueber die Japaner
"They will pursue, quite doggedly as well, unless the chase exceeds 180kph, in which case they are required break off due to risk. There are specialized pursuit vehicles in use on all expressways - these do not break off.
More importantly, all cars and many bikes are now outfitted with hi-def cameras, and if they get a good reading on your plate that's all they need to show up and serve you with a summons. It's common practice among sportbike riders and other speed afficionados to obscure their license plates to counteract the cameras - recent changes to the road traffic law make that a 50K fine in cases where it's improperly mounted, but covering it with a healthy coat of dirty engine oil or exhaust soot is still on the grey edges of that law. Motorcycle riders usually just hang a lock down over the plate - "Musta slipped."
Break off due to risk.....macht scho Sinn....ausser ma nimmt den Tod Unbeteiligter in kauf....wie in oben erwaehnten Filmen...high speed chase...
